Quick Insight

This company is losing a lot of employees!  Most are male, age 25-34 and have a bachelor’s degree.  What I’m missing here is perspective, as most visuals are count based. A quick look says Lab Tech’s have the highest attrition, but that’s by count.  Looking by percent, you get a different insight, which is that Sales has the highest percent attrition.

The attrition trend graph also doesn’t show you the growth in headcount.  If this is a fast-growing company, rapidly staffing up, then the attrition rate might be flat or even trending down.

Design Notes

This is a nice layout for a business dashboard.  It is packed with data visuals, but not so much that it is difficult to use.  Color palate is nice, good use of labels, and concepts are grouped appropriately.  I recommend adding a little more functionality, perhaps a color legend to the Survey Score section, and the Recent Attrition section is begging to have that associate level data aggregated and visualized.
